COVID-19 Tuning Procotcol

While we shut down for 6 weeks during the spring of 2020, we took the time to re-evaluate safety precautions for our staff and customers.

Commitment to our “Bubble”

We remain a small tight knit team, limiting our daily scheduled tunings and restoration projects  to allow sufficient time for cleaning and sanitizing between jobs.

Screen and Protect

One day prior to tuning, a member of our office team will reach out to confirm appointment and  ensure everyone present at home are healthy.

At the start of each business day, our technicians are asked to self assess for symptoms. At the workshop, we ensure frequent hand washing, practice physical distancing and personal protective equipment are worn. While our technicians are in your home, they are required to wash their hands before engaging with your instrument and wear a mask before entering your home and throughout the duration of service.

What we ask from our clients

We ask that all items are removed off the surfaces of the piano. If at all possible, it would be nice if the keyboard was wiped down with a mild detergent.

While the technician works on your piano, please maintain a safe distance by leaving them alone in the room. Once they are finished, they will call out to you so they can have a quick discussion about any minor issues they noticed. If there are issues that require further work or more in depth discussion and explanation, they will advise you of this, then call or e-mail at a later time to continue the conversation from a safe distance.

Payment can be made by credit card or e-transfer. You can otherwise send a cheque or cash to our mailing address at 1058 Yonge Street.
