1916 Nordheimer Upright in Satin Ebony

Satin Ebony

This Canadian treasure is fully restored with new hammers, pins, and strings.

Nordheimer Piano and Music Company were established in 1844 by brothers, Abraham and Samuel Nordheimer in Toronto. They manufactured their first piano in 1866 and continued to grow and flourish building a full line of upright, squares, and reed organ pianos.

In 1928, Heintzman & Co. took over their business and continued to manufacture pianos with the Nordheimer name until 1960.

Paul Hahn Senior worked as a Nordheimer technician before starting Paul Hahn & Co.

Nordheimer pianos are often considered to be of a similar quality if not better than Heintzman pianos.
